Ambassador Program
Be the Face of Business Growth in Allen
The Ambassador Program serves as goodwill representatives for the Allen Chamber of Commerce, welcoming new members at ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and other Chamber events. Ambassadors are the directors of first impressions, playing vital roles as community representatives and mentors to new Chamber members during their first year.
Red Team Ambassadors
What Red Team Ambassadors Do:
- Welcome new members at ribbon cuttings and grand openings
- Represent the Chamber at community events
- Foster member retention and participation at Chamber events
Blue Team Ambassadors
What Blue Team Ambassadors Do:
- Help members maximize their membership investment
- Connect members with relevant Chamber programs and resources
- Serve as mentors and guides for member engagement
- Ensure members stay informed about opportunities and benefits
- Bridge communication between the Chamber and the membership
How to Get Involved: We recommend prospective Ambassadors be members in good standing for a minimum of one year. Contact the Chamber at (972) 727-5585 to learn more about this rewarding leadership opportunity.
Meeting Schedule: Second Monday of each month (both teams meet together)
Business Advocacy Committee (BAC)
Your Voice in Government and Policy
What We Do:
- Review local, county, state, and national issues affecting business
- Monitor legislative developments during sessions
- Recommend Chamber positions on key issues
- Host Annual Candidate Forums
- Organize Eggs & Issues Breakfasts
- Coordinate Collin County Days in Austin and Washington D.C
- Lead Get Out the Vote initiatives
- Develop position papers and resolutions
Who Can Participate: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Chairman’s Circle members are eligible for Business Advocacy Committee seats as part of their membership benefits.
Meeting Schedule: Monthly during legislative session, as needed at other times
